Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-coloured materials designed to cover the front side of teeth to improve the overall appearance of teeth. They are usually made of ceramic and constructed by skilled dental technicians in a dental laboratory. Veneers can be made out of white filling materials too and these can be placed at one visit in the surgery.

Tooth preparation is minimal and usually confined to the enamel structure, we can even place no preparation veneers. An impression is taken of the tooth and this is sent to our dental laboratory where our skilled dental technician will construct the intricate veneer.
The veneer is then bonded to the tooth at a second appointment with tooth-coloured resin cement, the result is a tooth restored to former form and function.
