Children’s Dentistry in Southampton

We welcome all the family for care at Bridgeways Dental, with children encouraged to start visiting as soon as their first tooth arrives. We want to make their experience a relaxed and friendly one that builds great dental health for life.

We also monitor the development of your children as they grow and change from baby teeth to adult teeth. If necessary we can offer interceptive orthodontics at the right time.

We provide a full offering of preventive items from tooth brushing instruction to fluoride treatments and fissure sealants. Prevention is really key to great dental health for life and we want to start early.

As well as this, we will keep you informed about fun kids activities to educate and inspire the younger generation to have perfect healthy, teeth and natural, beautiful smiles.

As a benefit of our adult practice membership plan  childrens’ examinations are included

• Two examinations per year (seen at the same time as you)
• Up until the age of 18
• Up to two children per adult member
• 10% discount applied to any treatment required (including orthodontics)

If you are not part of our membership plan and prefer to pay-as-you-go for your dental care, then the following children’s examination fees will apply:

• 0-3 years: FREE
• 3-12 years: 50% discount on examination fee
• 12+ years: no discount on examination fee

Our childrens fee structure is based upon the expected need for preventative advice and treatment, as well as childrens dental development. We also believe strongly in prevention and a positive attitude towards dental care, so regular dental visits throughout the childhood years should minimise need for dental treatment in adulthood and also encourage positive, happy patients free from dental anxiety.
