This patient came was seeking an overall improvement in her smile, and was mainly concerned with the alignment of her front teeth. Before starting any elective or cosmetic treatment, it is important that the mouth is healthy and free from disease or inflammation.
Our dental therapist worked with the patient to improve their oral hygiene care at home, as well as providing in-surgery treatment to remove stains and calculus. The patient then was ready to start treatment with Invisalign, which lasted for 15 months.
Following tooth straightening, her smile was finished with a course of at-home tooth whitening over 4 weeks, edge contouring and composite edge bonding. She was fitted with bonded lingual retainers and provided with at home removable retainers.
