Born in Cyprus, Mr Stavros Eleftheriou is a specialist in Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery (Cyprus) and specialist in Oral Surgery (UK).

After his graduation from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, he continued his surgical training in Israel (Rambam Medical Centre, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Technion – Faculty of Medicine).

Following the completion of his surgical training (General Surgery, Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery), Mr Eleftheriou travelled to Greece, Germany, Austria and the USA for further refinement of his surgical techniques in Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Implantology.

He returned to his home country, Cyprus, in 2003 where he established his own successful private practice offering Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Advanced Implantology.

In 2015, due to the grave financial situation in Cyprus, Mr Stavros Eleftheriou moved to the UK where he started working as an Implantologist and Oral Surgeon.

He has performed thousands of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery cases and more than 7000 Implants, including more than 300 of all-on-x (teeth-in-a-day) cases, zygomatic and pterygoid implants, all types of bone grafts, Inferior Alveolar Nerve Lateralisation procedures, and soft tissue grafts.

His main interest is Reconstructive and Regenerative Oral Surgery and Advanced and Complex Implant cases. He always loves the challenge to take on cases that others label as ‘impossible to treat’ due to lack of hard or soft tissue.

He now travels all around the UK to offer his services on advanced implantology and oral surgery and internationally to teach on advanced and complex oral reconstruction. He is a Key Opinion Leader for a number of companies and also a teacher in Queen Mary University, London.

Here at Bridgeways Dental, Stavros helps George with extreme cases of bone regeneration for patients that either have been referred from other surgeons or have been told that there are no further options. They have successfully treated a large number of cases which are presented in congresses around the world.

Stavros is an accomplished nature photographer, passionate cook and you will often hear him sing opera while operating. Most of his happiness outside of dentistry comes from his lovely family.
