Highly Experienced Dental Team in Southampton

Mel joined Bridgeways Dental in May 2022 after deciding to take her career in a new direction. Since starting her dental nursing journey, she has discovered a real passion for helping people feel comfortable, cared for, and valued. She completed her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing at Eastleigh College, where she studied for two years.

Mel is dedicated to creating a calm, stress-free experience for every patient. She focuses closely on each person’s journey, always looking for ways to go the extra mile and ensure they feel welcome and at ease from the moment they walk through the door.

Knowing she always wanted to work in healthcare, Mel found her interest naturally drawn to dentistry when exploring her next steps in education. As a dental nurse, she loves being hands-on with patient care and making a positive difference in people’s lives. She particularly enjoys supporting cosmetic and restorative treatments such as composite bonding and crowns, and finds it incredibly rewarding to see the transformations and patients’ reactions to their new smiles.

Outside of work, Mel enjoys crocheting and spending time with her two cats. She’s also known for treating the team to her legendary home-baked goodies, especially her brownies and cakes. And when she’s not baking, you’ll likely find her listening to Harry Styles, she has never missed a concert!
