Creating beautiful smiles whilst preserving the health of your teeth by acting in the least invasive way possible has always been Casey’s passion, and she likes to use her skills as a restorative and cosmetic dentist along with orthodontic teeth straightening to achieve her patient’s goals. The benefit of being trained in both disciplines allows a bespoke combination of treatments to be provided and Casey tailors treatment plans to each individual patient to achieve beautiful natural results.

Casey graduated from Bristol University and completed her foundation training in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. She is dedicated to post graduate training is a certified Platinum Provider of Invisalign and has received a certificate for the completion of the year-long restorative course hosted by the acclaimed Dr Paul Tipton. Casey has completed her masters degree in Orthodontics at Warwick University in 2022, after several years of dedicated study.

George moved to England from Greece in 2004, just as the Olympic games were starting in Athens, as he failed to find a ticket for his favourite sport – basketball! He had just completed his dental training in Aristotle University, Thessaloniki as well as a year as a Dental Officer in the Greek army.

Since living in the UK, George has completed a Diploma in Endodontics from Queen Mary University, London, as well as studying with the first UK based European Expert in Implantology Dr Phil Bennett, gaining his Certificate in Implantology. He has also gained a Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry and he is now studying for his Master’s in Periodontology and Implantology.

He has worked around the south coast and the west-country, before finally settling in the borders of Dorset and Hampshire. For several years he has held an honorary contract with the Maxillofacial Department of Poole Hospital as a dental surgeon, performing complex surgical procedures.

Being Greek, George’s main passion outside of dentistry is appreciating a good coffee, but he also likes running, reading, and water-sports.

He doesn’t like the British weather so much (but who can blame him for that one?!)

Born in 1971 in Cyprus, Mr Stavros Eleftheriou is a specialist in Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery (Cyprus) and specialist in Oral Surgery (UK).

After his graduation from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1996, he continued his surgical training in Israel (Rambam Medical Centre, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Technion – Faculty of Medicine). Following the completion of his surgical training (General Surgery, Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery), Mr Eleftheriou traveled to Greece, Germany, Austria and the USA for further refinement of his surgical techniques in Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Implantology. He returned to his home country, Cyprus, in 2003 where he established his own successful private practice offering Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Advanced Implantology.

In 2015, due to the grave financial situation in Cyprus, Mr Stavros Eleftheriou moved to the UK where he started working as an Implantologist and Oral Surgeon. Mr Eleftheriou has performed thousands of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery cases and more than 7000 Implants, including more than 200 of all-on-x (teeth-in-a-day) cases, zygomatic implants, all types of bone grafts, Inferior Alveolar Nerve Lateralisation procedures, and soft tissue grafts. His main interest is Reconstructive and Regenerative Oral Surgery and Complex Implant cases. He always loves the challenge to take on cases that others label as impossible to treat due to lack of hard or soft tissue.

His motto is: “there is no case that cannot be treated with Implants!”

Sophie joined Bridgeways Dental in September 2018. She has been a Dental Nurse since 2015 and obtained her qualification in dental nursing in 2017 after studying at Eastleigh College. She has been working in private dental practices around Southampton since gaining her registration. Since welcoming her son, Sophie has returned to Bridgeways Dental in a non-clinical management role.

Sophie’s passion in dentistry is to work with dentists creating transformed smiles. Dentistry has so much to offer these days and she loves helping people to smile again. Transforming a smile can involve minimal treatments like Invisalign and tooth whitening, things like veneers to change the shape and size of people’ teeth, and also replacing missing teeth using implants. It’s great to be able to assist at all stages along the way. She has had Invisalign treatment herself, so she knows what it is like, and can help patients to understand what it might be like for them too.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her fiancé Tom, son Arthur, newest addition Arla and dog Roxy. She likes to keep fit (when she has a spare 5 minutes) and walking in the forest!

Sophie is currently on maternity leave, due to return in spring 2023!

Katie graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2018 after studying for her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Since graduating she has worked in private practices around the Hampshire and Sussex area and joined the Bridgeways Dental team in December 2020.

Katie is passionate about aiding patients in improving their oral hygiene, with a real focus on putting anxious patients at ease. She is able to offer hygiene and whitening treatments to patients and undertook the Totally Composite Course run by Dr Monik Vassant in London.

Katie is able to treat dental decay and provide patients with aesthetic white composite fillings as required. She will also be attending the Smile Fast Composite Veneer course in the New Year and is excited to implement her new skills at Bridgeways Dental.

Outside of dentistry Katie enjoys trying extreme sports, spending time with her friends and family, attending music festivals and travelling.
She is currently training for the London April 2023 Marathon, which she is running in aid of The National Eczema Society

She recently travelled around Japan which has sparked a love of exploring other countries and cultures, she hopes she’ll be able to do this again soon!

Angelika graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2022 with a Distinction in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene and was awarded an Academic Award. Since graduating, she has attended further courses in periodontal treatment, teeth whitening and air polishing. She keeps up to date with current evidence-based guidelines to ensure her patients receive the best level of care.

Angelika is passionate about the profession. She has a keen interest in periodontics and aesthetic dentistry. She is currently working on expanding her knowledge and completing advanced restorative diploma.

Her favourite part about her role is helping people improve their oral health by implementing individually tailored advice to create healthy lifelong habits. She also really enjoys putting nervous patients at ease and helping them to alleviate their anxieties.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, experiencing new places and learning languages.

Terri joined Bridgeways in December 2020 in a bid to end 2020 on a high! She fell into dentistry in 2017 and never looked back. She studied for 2 years at Eastleigh college and gained her level 3 diploma in dental nursing. After two years of training, she qualified and progressed onto a lead nurse role at her previous NHS practice. She decided to take a step back and a step into private dentistry to widen her scope of practice, and join a practice that is passionate about restorative, cosmetic dentistry.

Since joining Bridgeways Dental, Terri has completed training to qualify as a phlebotomist in 2022. During surgical treatments, she will collect a small sample of your blood for PRF treatment which George or Stavros will use during treatments such as implant placements and bone reconstruction. Terri is now studying dental radiology to continue broadening her scope of practice.

Terri loves how dentistry can really change a person and how they feel, which can have a such a positive impact on their lives! A great healthy smile that you can be proud of is what everybody deserves and Terri enjoys assisting dentists who can make this happen. From Invisalign to implants, whitening to composite fillings, she finds being involved in a patient’s journey from start to finish very rewarding!

In Terri’s spare time, she enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym or out on her bike and paddleboard, visiting her favourite places like the beach or the forest.

Chloe joined Bridgeways Dental in August 2020 as a trainee dental nurse. She started her dental nursing course in 2018 completed her qualification in August 2022. Chloe is passionate about dental nursing, having always wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, her childhood dream was to become a nurse.

Chloe loves sharing the happiness with patients who have received life changing treatments such as smile makeovers, and really enjoys being a part of the process. Her favourite part of dentistry is assisting with surgical treatment such as the placement of dental implants.

When not at work Chloe spends her weekends with her family and her dog Daisy.

Chloe is currently on maternity leave after having her baby daughter in October. She will be returning to the practice in 2023.

Melissa joined Bridgeways Dental in May 2022 after deciding to go down a different path and kick start her career. Since beginning her dental nursing journey, Melissa has found her passion for helping people and making sure they are comfortable and happy. She enjoys focusing on the patients journey, finding ways to make their experience at Bridgeways Dental stress free and calm. She prides herself in going the extra mile to help every patient feal at ease and have a 5* experience as soon as they walk through the door.

Melissa always knew she wanted to work in health care and dentistry took her interest when looking to further her education. Since becoming a dental nurse she enjoys how she can be involved in the patient care and can have a positive impact in peoples lives. Melissa particularly enjoys restorative treatments such as crowns and veneers, and loves the aesthetic impact they can have.

Melissa is enrolled at Eastleigh college and is looking forward to starting her qualification in March 2023.

Outside of work, Melissa spends her spare time looking after her kitten and baking treats for the team (the brownies always go down a storm). Harry Styles is Mel’s guilty pleasure and never misses a concert!
