Healthy Habits – New Year’s Dental Resolutions

I would like to take this time to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope that you have all had a nice and relaxing break, spending lots of time with family and friends.

This time of year is a time for reflection, refocusing and planning for the year ahead. Bridgeways Dental has loads planned for 2018, so watch this space for news about our two new staff members who we welcomed recently.

I know that I have binned the last of the “celebrations” (Who honestly eats the “Bounty” anyway?!) and have vowed to myself to spend a little bit more time in the gym, but what about our dental health?

I found this interesting article from Colgate recently, which inspired me to write this blog post.

Having great oral health really improves your overall wellbeing. Some things are really simply and can make a big difference to how healthy your mouth is such as making sure you brush twice a day, using the right brush, and flossing. Other things may need more commitment or willpower such as changing diet habits or thinking about quitting or cutting down on smoking or alcohol but there is no time like the present!

Now is a great time to start flossing regularly again, book that overdue check-up, or think about embarking on that treatment plan you have been delaying, or debating.
