It is the aim of this practice to provide quality dental care to our patients on schedule and to use clinical time effectively. To achieve this aim we have an Appointment Cancellation Policy.
Patients are requested to give at least 3 working days’ notice to cancel an appointment. Cancellations should be made by telephone on 02380 868833 or by email at email@example.com. E.g. if you wish to cancel an appointment on Thursday 8:30am, you need to contact us by 8:30am on Monday. To cancel an appointment for Monday 8.30, you will need to contact us by 8.30 on Wednesday.
Cancellation with less than 3 working days’ notice will incur a 100% fee for all hygiene appointments and 50% fee for all other treatments, unless otherwise specified in your personalised treatment letter.
It is our aim to telephone or write to a patient after a missed appointment to understand the reason for non-attendance and to inform them of any fee incurred within 2 working days’ of the missed appointment.
If you wish to appeal a decision about missed appointments or those cancelled at short notice, this should be done in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, directing your request to the Practice Manager, Sophie Spencer.
We thank you for your understanding and welcome any comments or feedback to ensure we are always improving our patient care.
